Chinese Restaurant Boycott over Spy Plane?
A Letter from a Reader

Hello,

I am not asian-american. My name is Corbin Russell and I am concerned about statements made by a local radio station in Houston, TX.

In regards to the US spy plane incident, the DJ suggested that everyone in Houston boycott Chinese buffets. Now, I normally lend little credence to to statements made by morning radio shows, especially ones such as this one, however I feel this has crossed a line.

Too many Americans (of all backgrounds) have died trying to make America a haven for tolerance and
opportunity. The radio station is 101.1 KLOL owned by Clear Channel Communications, Inc. I have called and emailed complaints into both of these organizations. The contact person at KLOL is Jim Trap (713.830.8000) and the person I left a voice mail with at Clear Channel Communications, Inc is Mr. Hogan at 404.367.0640.

I was shocked that I had to remind people of the japanese american intern camps during WWII and I am
appalled that Americans are so forgetful. I would be dissappointed in myself as an American if some yokel
were to perform some act of violence or destruction because of this ethnically-based suggestion of a
boycott.

Please yell as much as you can at these people. Thank you for your time.

=====
Thanks!
Corbin Russell
