Models of Organizing

Azine Boston and the Chinese Progressive Association recently joined City Life/Vida
Urbana and Alternatives for Community and Environment (ACE) to share views
to build the local activist community. All the organizations have build long
standing organizations based on grassroots organizing in communities of color.
Over two hundred attended the Radical Organizing Conference including immigrants
from China, Brazil, Puerto Rico and other countries. Lydia Lowe presented ideas
about a model of organizing based on the experiences
of Azine Boston and the Chinese Progressive Association. We will be posting
other views presented as a way to move forward discussion of organizing today.
