PUT THE US GOVERNMENT ON TRIAL FOR WAR CRIMES

Recently, it was revealed that Bob Kerrey led a group of highly trained SEAL assassins and killed women, children, and old men. Bob Kerrey is of course a former US Senator and governor of Nebraska and a highly decorated war hero. In that same war, Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger spread the Vietnam war to a neutral country, Cambodia, that led to the death of millions, much of it by carpet bombing carried out by US planes.

Not Isolated
Such massacre of civilians were not isolated incidents. Vietnam veterans, including Kerrey, have argued in his defense that killing anybody, including women and children in "free fire zones," areas designated Viet Cong territory, was "standard operating procedure." The preferred method of murder for his SEAL unit was slitting their throats. Veterans have also argued that there were many incidents of varying degrees like the My Lai massacre. The carpet bombing, napalming, and dropping of Agent Orange defoliants (which as a chemical causes illnesses and birth defects) were of course part of official military policy.

The Vietnam war was not unique in how the US treated civilians. US soldiers machined gunned civilians at Nogun-Ri during the Korean War. Korean citizens groups have cited numerous incidents like Nogun-Ri. These citizens groups will be holding hearings this summer. Even during World War II, we deliberately dropped the Atomic bomb on hundreds of thousand of innocent civilians during World War II on Japan.
